Karim Rashid Heats Things Up For Caleido With His New Radiator Designs.

I simply cannot get over how rich the area of industrial design is when it comes to radiators. This is my fourth post on radiators and I simply keep finding more and more ones that I want to blog about.

Karim Rashid (who coincidentally curated an exhibit on design radiators at the MAD Museum in 2009) has now created his own for Caleido in his unmistakable style.

The new models, Kelvin (also referred to as Geiger) and Therme, designed by Rashid are wall-mountable and feature his graphic and vibrant imagery on steel plates.

Sculptor Hubert Reiber Creates Human Body Shaped Shower, The Aquanatass

You'll never have to shower alone again.
The Aquanatass is a new sculptural shower shaped like the human form created for Bagno Sasso by sculptor and artist Hubert Rieber.



Water is emitted from the shower in a stream from the 'mouth' and/or a 'spray' from the head.




As the sculpture shower appears when not in use (shown in aluminum):


The Aquanatass shower sculpture is available in bronze, aluminium or wood.




The Aquanatass shower sculpture is sold exclusively through Bagno Sasso in Switzerland and the United Arab Emirates. In co-operation with Hubert Rieber further shapes will be realized. All sculptures are hand-made and manufactured in limited edition.

Diamonds Are A Plumbers Best Friend? Teknobili's Diamond Oz Faucet

Teknobili of italy has a limited edition of their OZ collection bathroom faucet made in pure gold (2,580 grams of 750% gold, that's 18k folks ) and embellished with 282 VVS, F color diamonds -that's 10.42 carats.

Lucite & Stainless Steel Luxury Tub: The Rossovivo

I'm not sure if I like this tub or hate it, but admittedly it's an original design and certainly functional. I suppose if you had a modern loft or cement floors, it could be very cool and appropriate.




Rossovivo is made of Lucite IceTM, a semi-transparent material that is pleasant to the touch, available in Ice Red, Ice Blue and Ice White. The unusual and exclusive frame – that makes a definite statement – is in stainless steel.14 Airpool jets, that can be activated by the remote control, provide a gentle massage to the whole body and can be mixed, if desidered with ozone.
The inspection panel gives immediate access to the mechanical and hydraulic components beneath the tub. Two soft headrests in Technogel complete the equipment.
